Shree Guru Sangeet Vidyalaya, Ranebennur, is an institute dedicated to teaching and promoting Indian classical music and Bharatanatyam.
Our aim is to provide students with a strong foundation in traditional Indian performing arts through regular practice, systematic teaching, and dedicated guidance.
We welcome students who wish to learn for personal interest as well as those who want to pursue structured learning and certification. Whether you are learning for cultural enrichment, performance, or a formal qualification, our programmes are designed to give you structured and guided learning.
Shree Guru Sangeet Vidyalaya is dedicated to nurturing young musical talent and preserving the rich heritage of Indian music.
The institution was founded in 2013 by A. M. Arun Kumar, a Music graduate with a Master of Music, as a small initiative to share the knowledge and values of music with aspiring learners. Guided by the blessings and valuable advice of his revered Guru, Sri Ayyappaiah Halagali Math Guruji, it was formally registered in Dharwad.
After successfully serving students in Dharwad for five years, the Vidyalaya expanded its vision to reach learners across Karnataka. Its Head Office was established in Ranebennur, Haveri District, where it has continued its musical journey for more than a decade.
Today the Vidyalaya has trained hundreds of students through systematic music education, stage performances, cultural programmes, and preparation for State and National-level music examinations. For the past two years, Ranebennur has also been home to a National-level Music Examination Centre, giving students the opportunity to pursue recognised music certifications.
To make quality music education accessible to every aspiring learner while preserving tradition, encouraging talent, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
